“Celtic” by self-definition, I was born & raised in Scotland, my father was from Cork and I spent many holidays with family in Dublin. Since 2008, I've called Madrid home, where I live with my Spanish husband and 4 bilingual children.
My background spans a rich blend of international experiences, having previously lived in Paris, Cuba, Hungary, England and Australia. This global perspective fuels my commitment to offer meaningful Transition Year programs that encourage cultural immersion, language learning, and personal growth.
As a mother, I've witnessed firsthand how impactful independent academic and ludic experiences abroad can be for young people. In 2011, I set up my own company with the purpose of sending Spanish & French children to Ireland & UK boarding schools for "Native English Experiences". I generally deal with 25-30 kids every year, giving the parents my full & personal support during the year.
